Localization Project Manager Team Lead

Please note: proven experience in the localization / translation industry is mandatory. Applications without localization background will not be considered.We are looking for a hands-on Localization PM Team Lead who can manage projects directly while also leading, monitoring, and improving the performance of the PM team.This is not a purely managerial role. We need someone who can jump into live projects, control delivery, support the team, improve workflows, and build practical KPIs that actually reflect performance — not just look good in a spreadsheet.Key Responsibilities:Manage localization and translation projects from start to deliveryLead, guide, and support the Project Management teamMonitor project progress, deadlines, quality risks, and team performanceImprove internal PM workflows, handoff processes, and escalation pathsBuild and track KPIs for productivity, delivery, quality, responsiveness, and vendor performanceUse localization tools, CAT tools, TMS platforms, spreadsheets, and PM tracking systems effectivelyCoordinate with clients, linguists, vendors, DTP teams, QA teams, and internal departmentsIdentify operational gaps and propose practical, scalable solutionsSupport the team during urgent, complex, or high-volume projectsRequirements:Strong background in the localization / translation industry is a mustProven experience managing translation or localization projects hands-onPrevious experience as Senior PM, PM Team Lead, or Operations Supervisor is preferredGood understanding of CAT tools, TMS workflows, vendor management, QA steps, and delivery cyclesAbility to design processes, not just follow themStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working under pressure and handling escalations professionallyDetail-oriented, organized, and commercially awareWe are looking for someone who can bring structure, control, and ownership to the PM function — while still being close enough to the projects to know what is really happening on the ground.Please Send your Resume to: Careers@awprotranslations.com
