Lafarge Egypt continuously seeks to meet the needs of a wide range of customers including but not limited to individual homebuilders, large construction companies, architects, or local artisans, powered by 1500 passionate employees.OverviewPlan, coordinate and implement defensive driving training (Smith System)Provide support to site managers & directly influences the behavior, performance and knowledge base of driversCommunication of logistics advisory safety managementKey Responsibilities1-Health & Safety:Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.2-Functional:Assess new applicant drivers before commencing work Participate in internal RT auditsAssist Road transport & site responsible in implementing pre start check.Assist site managers in preparation of roads & sites risk assessments and inspection processParticipate in RT incident investigations and Root Cause AnalysisIdentify driver's strengths and weaknesses and provide personalized, practical solutions to various driving deficiencies or disadvantagesConduct TBT for working at height road black spots, near miss, journey plan, journey management & fatigue managementPerform driver feedback programGenerate driver violation reportReview driver performance dashboardPerform driver drug testLog all driver drug test resultsPrepare black list for positive drug test resultAccountable for the iVMS devices to monitor the road safety rest hours.Assure the driver rest hours is complying with RS standardsReport any deviation with reference to RS rest hours.Log all trucks activities in logistics utilization sheetControl the fatigue management of the drivers and assure driver is having 8 hrs/day as a rest timeAssure driver is complying with 6/1 fatigue policyReport any system failure regarding the tracking applicationQualifications & ExperienceEducation:Ability to train, conduct TBT for road transport safety requirements.Technical Skills: Valid driving license Class AComputer literate.Certified Smith System trainerExperience:At least 5-7 years as a driverWHO ARE LAFARGE PEOPLE?Lafarge people are passionate about finding better ways to build.
