Logistics Operator

DescriptionEnvision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Logistics Operator for one of our partners, a global leader in Information Technology Services & Consulting!Job Summary:The Logistics Operator will be responsible for media handling, barcoding, inventory, and imaging activities. The Logistics Operator will work with other operators, studio supervisors, and management to ensure the receipt, inventory check-in, imaging, movement to and from production, storage, check-out and shipping processes of the organization are efficient.Operational and Technical Responsibilities:Receives incoming media shipments in support of digital media production.Performs incoming media inspection check-in, including manifest review, barcoding, file organization, media asset imaging, and data entry into asset management system.Organizes media storage and delivery of media to respective production teams.Receives completed media from respective production teams, performs check-out, and prepares for return or transfer to long-term warehousingMaintains inventory of all media and equipment entering or exiting the facility.Identifies missing or damaged materials and notifies the respective studio supervisorEnsures all outgoing media is safely and securely packed and labeled for shippingHandles all media with appropriate careWorks with forklifts and pallet jacks to move freight from warehouse racking or trucks.Assists with training of newly employed workersEnsures tasks are completed safely and on timeRequirements:Prior experience working in a warehouse is preferred.All applicants should have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Familiarity with barcodes and barcode scanningFamiliarity with inventory control practices and logisticsComfortable using inventory software and other organizational computer applications Certification in the operation of a forklift truck is not necessary but would be considered a plus.
