As a Logistics Specialist Your key responsibilities will include:1. Shipment CoordinationManage end-to-end shipments from vendors to warehouseCoordinate with vendors and freight forwarders for pickup, documentation, and delivery (air/sea)Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipping documentsTrack shipments and resolve delays proactively2. Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementAct as main contact between vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teamsCoordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and FinanceEnsure vendors and service providers meet agreed SLAs3. Freight & Cost ManagementNegotiate freight rates and evaluate shipping optionsIdentify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service qualitySupport logistics supplier benchmarking and tenders4. Tracking & DocumentationMaintain accurate shipment records and status updatesEnsure full visibility of shipments for stakeholders5. Costing & AnalysisCapture and analyze full shipment costs (freight, duties, etc.)Prepare cost reports and recommend improvements6. Warehouse & Customs SupportSupport GRNs, inventory control, and inbound coordinationAssist in customs clearance and Nafeza submissionsEnsure compliance with import regulations7. Reporting & ImprovementPrepare shipment and KPI reports (delivery, cost, timelines)Identify process improvements and support SOPsWhat You Bring to the RoleBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.2–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.Good understanding of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs processes.Experience with Nafeza and CargoX is a strong advantage.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Skilled in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).Your Growth with Us: Joining Ingram Micro means becoming part of a global leader in technology solutions.
