This commitment to safety and operational excellence shapes the company’s culture and day-to-day activities.Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of heavy transportation equipment and materials, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety and HSE standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing transportation schedules, tracking shipments, preparing documentation for local and regional logistics operations, and coordinating with drivers, technicians, and customers to ensure smooth workflows. The Logistics Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to optimize routes, address operational issues, and support continuous improvement in logistics processes. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, handling customer inquiries, and supporting compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams, drivers, and clients effectively.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize routes, and solve logistical challenges.Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Export processes relevant to regional and international logistics operations.Candidates should possess proficiency in using logistics or ERP software, and MS Office (especially Excel) for planning and reporting.Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain within industrial or energy sectors is beneficial.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment are required.A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.Knowledge of HSE standards and regulations in heavy transportation or oil and gas sectors is an advantage.
