This role is essential in supporting the overall operational efficiencyof the organization by leading the facilities maintenance team and ensuring compliance with safety andindustry standards.EnvironmentInternal and external interactions i.e.: with other departments/divisions, international scope, providers,customers)Internal: Leads and supervises the facilities maintenance team, collaborating with other departmentsto ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt operations. Works closely with the ManufacturingDirector to align maintenance activities with organizational goals.External: Coordinates with external contractors, technical services, and third-party agents formaintenance services and supplies. Engages with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safetyand industry standards.Key responsibilityOversee and ensure timely completion of all maintenance operations for non-GMP areas, includingpreventive and corrective maintenance.Supervise and lead the facilities maintenance team, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensurehigh performance.Perform regular inspections of non-GMP facilities to identify and address maintenance needs,ensuring all equipment and systems (e.g., plumbing, civil, elevators) are functioning optimally.Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the optimal performance of non-GMP facilities.Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and properstorage.Coordinate with other departments to ensure facilities maintenance activities do not disruptoperations and align with administrative schedules.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and compliance withsafety regulations.Oversee the work of external contractors, technical services, and third-party agents, ensuring theymeet organizational standards and project requirements.Academic experience requiredBachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.Optional: Certification in SAP-PM or other CMMS.Professional Experience Required3+ years of proven experience in facilities maintenance, with hands-on involvement in dailyoperations and team coordination.Strong working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, civil works, and elevators, withthe ability to troubleshoot and support technical issues effectively.Experience in supervising technicians and contractors, ensuring timely execution of preventive andcorrective maintenance tasks.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support in implementing operationalimprovements.Computing SkillsFamiliarity with SAP-PM or other CMMS.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reportingpurposes.Personal SkillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifyingand addressing maintenance issues.Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withinternal and external stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining a high levelof accuracy and efficiency.Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.LanguagesWritten and spoken English and Arabic
