We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join SEG Egypt team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of all mechanical systems (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing) on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budget, and timeline.Key Responsibilities:Supervise on-site installation of mechanical systems and ensure work is done per approved drawings.Review, modify, and prepare shop drawings and material submittals for approval.Perform quantity surveying (BOQ) and prepare progress invoices.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Civil, Architectural, Electrical) to avoid on-site clashes.Inspect delivered mechanical materials to ensure they meet project standards.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.Manage and supervise subcontractors and evaluate their performance.Participate in testing and commissioning activities with the consultant. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.[e.g., 7-10 years] of experience in the construction/contracting field.Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, and Elite. Knowledge of Revit (BIM) is a strong plus.Strong knowledge of international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IPC).Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Good command of English (written and spoken).
