WE ARE HIRING NMH designers Consultant Engineer Email / hr@nmhdesigners.net -----------------------------------------------Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting) -----------------------------------------------We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering consultancy. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of building services and a proven track record in designing integrated mechanical systems for complex projects. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs while ensuring full coordination through BIM workflows. --------------------------------------------------Key Responsibilities· Integrated Mechanical Design: Lead and execute the end-to-end design for HVAC, Plumbing (Public Health), and Fire Fighting systems in accordance with international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC/UPC) and local standards.· BIM Modeling & Coordination: Develop detailed 3D models using Revit MEP, ensuring seamless BIM coordination and clash detection between mechanical systems and other disciplines (Architectural/Structural).· Engineering Calculations: Perform heating/cooling load calculations (using HAP or similar), hydraulic calculations for pump sizing, pipe sizing, and duct static pressure loss.· Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design reports, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.· Project Lifecycle Support: Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and ensure that designs align with project timelines and client requirements.· Quality Assurance: Conduct internal design reviews to maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all mechanical services. -------------------------------------------------------------Requirements· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.· Experience: 5 to 7 years of solid experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy environment.· Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in designing:· HVAC: Chilled water systems, DX systems, and ventilation.· Plumbing: Water supply, drainage, and specialized sanitary systems.· Fire Fighting: Sprinkler systems, standpipes, and clean agent suppression.· Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD are mandatory.
