We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and on-site execution. You will be responsible for preparing precise shop drawings, managing quantity take-offs, estimating costs for tenders, and coordinating closely with site teams to ensure all mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting) are delivered according to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesShop Drawings Management: Preparing and reviewing workshop drawings (Shop Drawings) for mechanical systems, including HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing (Water Supply & Drainage).Quantity Surveying: Preparing Quantity Take-offs (BOQs) for materials, executed works, and remaining tasks specific to the mechanical scope.Tendering & Estimation: Studying project documents, developing cost estimations, preparing pricing sheets, and submitting competitive mechanical tenders/bids.Financial Tracking: Preparing and following up on progress invoices, financial claims, and variations for both the Client/Owner and Subcontractors. Site Coordination: Actively collaborating with site engineers to ensure execution perfectly matches approved drawings and specifications, while proactively resolving any design clashes (Coordination).Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Technical Office operations within the contracting and construction industry. Software Proficiency: Full mastery of essential engineering software, with an emphasis on AutoCAD and Revit. Technical Skills: High proficiency in design calculations, reviewing technical catalogs, and managing Material Submittals for approvals.
