The MEP Senior Manager is a strategic technical leader within the Facility Management function, responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations across the company's operational real estate assets following handover. This includes commercial, mixed-use, residential, and corporate facilities under active facility management.The role ensures the optimal performance, safety, sustainability, and cost-effective operation of all MEP systems through strong governance, proactive maintenance strategies, and effective leadership of multidisciplinary FM technical teams. Reporting to the Facility Management Director, the Senior Manager drives MEP excellence across day-to-day FM operations, vendor performance, technical standards, and long-term asset performance, aligned with organizational objectives.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage all MEP operations across the facility management portfolio, ensuring system reliability, efficiency, and compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and FM best practices.• Develop, implement, and continuously improve MEP maintenance strategies within the FM environment, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, to maximize asset uptime and lifecycle value.• Manage MEP-related operational and capital expenditures (Opex and Capex), including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and lifecycle planning for managed assets.• Establish and enforce MEP technical standards, policies, and procedures across all FM-managed properties to ensure consistent, safe, and high-quality operations.• Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational optimization initiatives across FM assets, including HVAC optimization, BMS utilization, power management, and water conservation.• Oversee MEP service providers, contractors, and specialist vendors, ensuring SLA compliance, cost efficiency, quality delivery, and effective risk management.• Collaborate with Projects, Development, and Handover teams to ensure the smooth transition of MEP systems into FM operations, including operational readiness, complete documentation, and compliance requirements.• Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex MEP operational issues across managed facilities, ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption to operations.• Monitor regulatory updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies relevant to MEP and facility management operations, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.• Prepare and present MEP operational performance reports, risk assessments, and improvement plans to the Facility Management Director and senior leadership.• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities/Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Professional certifications (e.g., CEM, PMP, LEED, BREEAM, NFPA) are a plus.- Previous Experience: 10 years of progressive experience in MEP / building services / facilities management, with significant exposure to large-scale real estate portfolios.Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders in complex operational settings.
