Job Summary:The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing the successful testing, inspection, and handover of civil utility infrastructure and structural assets from construction contractors, ensuring all deliverables meet strict engineering standards and quality benchmarks. The role acts as a vital bridge between projects and operations by defining technical specifications for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and supervising third-party O&M contractors to ensure long-term structural integrity, asset reliability, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and validate final inspections, testing, and snag list resolution of civil utility infrastructure (water/wastewater networks, storm drainage, concrete structures, roads, and underground utilities).Define and standardize operational requirements, inspection protocols, and preventive maintenance schedules.Manage civil repair works, refurbishment projects, fit-out activities, and minor construction works within managed facilities and communities.Review contractor work progress, quality of execution, material specifications, and project deliverables.Monitor and evaluate outsourced civil O&M contractors against SLAs and KPIs.Provide technical expertise for structural defects and civil infrastructure issues.Ensure compliance with local building regulations, engineering standards, and facility management procedures.Prepare technical reports, inspection findings, maintenance records, and performance analyses for management review.Maintain accurate documentation of civil assets, maintenance activities, as-built drawings, and asset condition records.Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.- Previous Experience: 4-8 years of experience in civil engineering, facility management, property maintenance, or construction environments.Experience managing civil infrastructure, building maintenance, refurbishment projects, and contractor supervision within real estate developments, commercial facilities, mixed-use communities, or hospitality environments.
