We carry out both long-term development work and, more recently, emergency humanitarian work.SCI Egypt Country Office is currently expanding its programs in Aswan to implement SGBV response and prevention interventions, including case management, MHPSS, and community-based prevention activities for refugee and migrant survivors, both children and adults. These services aim to respond to, and address protection needs and provide urgent support to survivors of violence that may have occurred in their country of origin, during their journey, or at their temporary or permanent destination.Role PurposeThe role supports the delivery of quality MHPSS services for refugee children and caregivers by facilitating group well-being sessions, awareness activities, and parenting support. The post holder contributes to planning and implementing PSS programmes, ensures full adherence to Child Safeguarding standards, and supports accurate reporting, documentation, and data management, while helping build positive engagement with beneficiaries.Scope Of RoleReports to: MHPSS OfficerStaff directly reporting to this post: None Responsibilities:Facilitate and co-facilitate a group sessions of psychological well-being.Facilitate and co-facilitate a raising awareness session to help to break the stigma of Mental health activities in refugees context.Co-facilitate a POM program session for parents and caregivers.Develop monthly reports reflecting the progress in the project implementation, highlight success cases and document challenges encountered during the implementation of activities.Participation in the planning and implementing of PSS group activities and setting up the monthly plan for the implementation of the group activities.Ensure that the activities are implemented in a full respect to the child safeguarding polices of SC.Contribute in the updating of project database and monitoring system.Draft concise, useful and analytical reports, reporting to the line manager.Provide the required translation support or build a relationship with the beneficiaries during individual sessions when needed.AccountabilitySKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS Managing resources efficiently, achieving and modelling Save the Children values.Ambition Sets ambitious and challenging goals for oneself (and their team), takes responsibility for own personal development and encourages others to do the same. Proven expertise in child protection and Child Resilience. Good Communication and facilitation skills. Has a good knowledge of one or more refugee languages in addition to Arabic Awareness about the security context and political situation in Egypt for refugees. Able to work effectively within a team and/or individually.
