ResponsibilitiesSales SupportCollaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept solutions.Respond to customer inquiries, RFPs, and RFQs with detailed technical responses.Solution DevelopmentAnalyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions.Work with the engineering and product teams to customize offerings based on client requirements.Design and present proposals that highlight technical and business benefits.Customer Relationship ManagementAct as the primary technical contact for prospective and existing clients.Build trust and credibility by addressing technical concerns and solving problems efficiently.Provide ongoing technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.Market and Industry KnowledgeStay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer input and market research.Collaboration and TeamworkWork closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on customer needs.Participate in strategy meetings to help identify opportunities for growth.Post-Sales SupportAssist with the implementation and deployment of solutions to ensure a smooth transition.Provide training and technical support to clients as needed.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering or a similar technical sales role.Experience in the specific industry (e.g., oil and gas, manufacturing and lubrication field) is highly preferred.Customer-focused mindset with a passion for problem-solving.Results-driven with strong business acumen.Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and learn new technologies quickly.Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.Required SkillsStrong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated success in delivering technical solutions that meet customer needs.Proficiency in relevant tools, platforms, and software (e.g., CRM systems, CAD software, or simulation tools).
