We’re Hiring: Operations AccountantWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day financial transactions that support the company’s operational activities, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial data in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests accurately and on time.Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances with clients and stakeholders.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with procurement and operations teams.Handle operational bank transfers across local and international accounts (EGP, AED, SAR, and other currencies as applicable), including initiating, tracking, and confirming transactions.Coordinate with banks to ensure timely execution of transfers and resolve failed, returned, or pending transactions.Post journal entries for operational expenses, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.Perform monthly bank and GL reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.Support month-end and year-end closing activities within deadlines.Track and allocate operational costs across departments, projects, and cost centers.Analyze variances between actual expenses and budgets, highlighting anomalies when needed.Prepare operational financial reports, including expense dashboards and weekly disbursement summaries.Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable tax regulations.Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation for audit purposes.Maintain accurate records within ERP systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to workflow improvements and automation initiatives.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in operational or multi-entity environments.Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar.Strong understanding of GAAP / IFRS accounting principles.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial reporting).Experience with multi-currency transactions and cross-border financial operations is an advantage.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across operational and finance teams.📍 Location: Maadi-Cairo📩 To apply, please send your CV to: Nourhan.Elbaz@eyouthlearning.com
