TSG is seeking dedicated and qualified Electrical and Mechanical Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineers for a full-time deployment. Selected candidates will be outsourced full-time to one of the largest and most prestigious oil and gas companies in the Suez area.In this role, you will be the frontline defender of asset integrity and site safety, managing the continuous reliability, testing, and maintenance of critical industrial Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting infrastructure. This position operates on a 24/7 rotational shift basis to guarantee uninterrupted protection for a major downstream facility.Detailed Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Routine & Preventive Maintenance (PM)Execute comprehensive preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance schedules for complex, addressable industrial Fire Alarm Systems (including FACP panels, smoke/heat/beam detectors, flame and toxic gas detectors, and field wiring).Oversee and maintain mechanical fire suppression systems, including deluge valves, sprinkler networks, foam proportioning systems, water monitors, and high-capacity fire water pump stations.2. Shift Operations & Rapid Incident ResponseActively monitor centralized safety system dashboards during assigned shifts, ensuring 100% alertness to system status, faults, or alarms.Serve as the immediate technical responder to any system anomalies, conducting swift diagnostics and isolation procedures to minimize downtime or false alarms.3. Safety & Compliance LeadershipWork strictly under the client facility’s rigorous Permit to Work (PTW) system, ensuring all safety isolations and lockouts are perfectly executed before maintenance begins.Enforce absolute compliance with international Oil & Gas HSE standards, asset integrity guidelines, and local hazardous area classifications.4. Documentation & ReportingMaintain meticulous shift logs, recording all test results, system modifications, battery bank health metrics, and equipment status updates.Generate detailed technical reports for any equipment failures, offering data-driven recommendations for long-term root cause correction.Ensure smooth, highly detailed shift handovers to maintain continuous situational awareness across the engineering team.Job Requirements & Technical QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.Experience: 1 to 4 years of solid, hands-on experience in the operations, maintenance, testing, or commissioning of industrial fire protection systems. Experience within refinery, petrochemical, or oil and gas facilities is highly preferred.Technical Core Competencies:Strong working knowledge of addressable fire alarm control panels (e.g., Honeywell, Notifier, Est, or similar industrial brands).Solid grasp of mechanical hydraulics, fire water networks, foam systems, and diesel/electric fire pump controllers.Familiarity with international engineering and safety standards, particularly NFPA codes (NFPA 10, 11, 13, 14, 20, 72).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including P&IDs, wiring schematics, and loop diagrams.Soft Skills & Logistics:Excellent problem-solving skills under high-pressure, safety-critical scenarios.Strong communication and teamwork skills to interface effectively with client safety departments.Absolute commitment to working a 24/7 rotational shift schedule (including night shifts, weekends, and holidays).Must be currently based in, or fully willing to commute/relocate to, Suez City.What We OfferFull-time, stable employment with a fast-growing systems integrator (TSG).Invaluable field experience inside a massive, world-class oil and gas industrial complex.Competitive basic salary augmented by shift allowances.A clear path for career growth, technical development, and exposure to advanced industrial automation and safety systems.
