Our products enable communication, measurement, regulation, and control across safety, comfort, powertrain, and networking functions.Our latest product portfolio includes:Lighting systemsLiDARUltrasonic rangingObject and gesture recognitionThermal managementElectronic fuse controlSmart Sensor Platforms (SSPs)As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of safety-critical embedded software throughout the complete automotive software lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, maintain, and document embedded software for automotive applications.Develop software for:Ultrasonic sensor applicationsPressure measurement systemsRGB LED light controlBasic Software (BSW) modules including Bootloader, Flash Driver, Communication Stack, and Memory DriversDeliver software across all V-model phases (SWE.1–SWE.6):Requirements engineeringSoftware architectureDetailed designUnit testingIntegration testingVerification and validationSupport the development of functionally safe automotive software in compliance with ISO 26262.Collaborate closely with customers, hardware engineers, software developers, architects, and test managers.Participate in code reviews, debugging, and system integration activities.Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards including ASPICE and cybersecurity requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.5–7 years of experience in embedded software and/or embedded systems development, preferably within the automotive industry.Strong programming skills in Embedded C.Experience with bare-metal embedded development.Hands-on experience working with hardware and debugging tools such as oscilloscopes.Experience developing software for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.Good understanding of automotive communication protocols, particularly:CANAutomotive EthernetExperience developing software on both Windows and Linux environments.Solid understanding of:Requirements engineeringSoftware architectureEmbedded programmingSoftware testingKnowledge of:Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)ISO 21434 (Automotive Cybersecurity)Experience working within Agile software development environments.Nice to HaveExperience with automotive sensor technologies, including:Ultrasonic sensingPressure measurementDigital filtering conceptsCharacteristic curve correctionExperience developing embedded Basic Software components such as:BootloaderCommunication DriversFlash DriversMemory Handling DriversExperience with higher Ethernet communication stacks, including:TCP/IPlwIPExperience working across ASPICE SWE.1–SWE.5 processes.Knowledge of automotive communication stacks and middleware.Why Join This Opportunity?Why This Client?Our client is an innovative, globally recognized high-tech company with a strong presence in the automotive semiconductor industry.
