OpenShift Engineer, this person is required to estimate, plan, setup, monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift Environment. Work will span multiple environments such as development, staging and production. Work will also include evaluation of new technology and internalizing it. Skills:A Good understanding of OpenStackKubernetes/OpenShift (4.x) administration (Installation, Patching, migration, application on-boarding, SSL certificates deployment, configuring ingress controllers, integrating with load balancers, storage solutions, container registry, integrating with identity management tools, integrating with vaults, etc)Work in Operations team during office hours and on call as required.Linux/Unix AdministrationConfiguring/administering monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, similar tools) on Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.Working experience with IBM Cloudpak for Integration(CP4I).Logging Tools (EFK Stack, similar tools) administration.Experience with OpenShift Data Foundation.Understanding the DevOps Tools/process would be added advantageKnowledge on CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Nexus, JFROG, Container Registry, SonarQube, etc.,).Container Native Storage tools (NFS,S3,PortWorx,Ceph,etc) administration.Good Knowledge/Understanding in Microservices.Knowledge with Hypervisors and Kubernetes, docker would be added advantageMaintaining lab environment to assess technical solutions and support SDN and NFV product POC testingShell Scripting and Software development experience, including API development (REST, XML, etc.)Adhering to SLAsITIL Processes awareness and adhering toHandling tickets / requestsPerform root cause analysisTroubleshooting technical issuesDefining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered toEnsure maximum uptime according to the SLAHas worked on Redhat OpenShift Containerization.Experience on Cluster Upgrade & updatesExperience on RHEL Linux Operating system.Knowledge on ODF and NFS file system and Nexus repositorybuilding and managing Infra, storage and worker nodes.POD management and resource scaling.
