OverviewSolmax Egypt is launching the Operations Summer Internship Program 2026 from 29 June to the end of August 2026. The program gives three selected interns hands-on exposure to manufacturing and supply chain operations through team-based projects focused on streamlining operations, improving standardization, and enhancing shop-floor execution. The internship is open to motivated 2nd-, 3rd-, and 4th-year students in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering, as well as Chemistry students seeking practical experience in an industrial environment. Applications will be accepted for a limited time only.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in onboarding, site orientation, and safety awareness activities.Understand project objectives, requirements, tools, and expected work methods.Support the operations team in development of standardized work instruction related to manufacturing and supply chain processes.Conduct time study for key activities and identify opportunities for waste elimination.Collaborate with fellow interns and function leaders through weekly reviews and shop-floor engagement.Consolidate results into a final report and present key findings and recommendations at the end of the program.QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year student in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or in the Faculty of Science (Chemistry section).Strong interest in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and continuous improvement.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.Good communication skills and willingness to engage with different functions on the shop floor.Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.Demonstrated curiosity, discipline, and eagerness to learn in a dynamic industrial setting.BenefitsPaid internshipSocial insuranceDynamic and Multinational company
