This leadership position is responsible for establishing the vision and direction for the performance media team, overseeing complex multi-channel paid media strategies, and ensuring the delivery of measurable results that align with organizational objectives. The Director will lead a team of performance media specialists, drive innovation in campaign approaches, and serve as the subject matter expert for performance media within the organization. Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, this role requires exceptional strategic thinking, advanced technical expertise, proven leadership abilities, and the capacity to translate performance marketing initiatives into tangible business outcomes.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on advanced leadership, strategic resource allocation, and talent development.Ensure flawless execution of high-volume digital campaigns, meeting or exceeding client KPIs.Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers, ad tech vendors, and suppliers to secure competitive rates and support.Own and enhance internal campaign management systems for improved productivity, accuracy, and reporting efficiency.Act as the primary escalation point, troubleshooting and resolving campaign delivery challenges.Safeguard adherence to data privacy regulations, industry standards, and client requirements across all campaigns.Integrated Media Planning and Buying: Lead holistic planning strategies across media channels, ensuring cohesive and effective campaign delivery.Financial and Invoicing Management: Oversee media budget tracking, vendor billing, and ensure precise financial reporting and client invoicing processes.Regularly review campaign data, generate insights, and recommend process improvements to maximize results.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, business, or a related fieldExperience 8+ years in digital media buying, planning, and ad operations with expertise in performance tracking and growth management with at least 6-8 years focused on performance marketingProven track record of driving business results through performance media campaigns across multiple industries or product categoriesSkills Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder presentationsAD server and DSP knowledgeStrong familiarity with the GCC advertising market is a plusProficiency in DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, and trafficking tools (e.g., Google Campaign Manager).Established relationships with major publishers and a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem.Advanced leadership skills in directing, structuring, and growing high-performing teams.Exceptional budget management expertise for large-scale media investmentsExcellent problem-solving abilities, strong data analysis skills, and attention to detail.Integrated Media Planning and Buying: Expertise in full-funnel media planning and execution.Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in agency financial management, including P&L, media billing, and invoicing cycles.This position is open until July 14Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
