They provide senior-level guidance, oversee financial performance, and mentor account teams to maintain high standards. Their role is pivotal in managing complex negotiations, anticipating challenges, and securing long-term client success.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Own and grow a portfolio of accounts, with full responsibility over revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction.Lead the strategic direction of clients, ensuring all work is aligned with business objectives and delivers measurable impact.Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and advisor.Ensure accuracy and clarity of all commercial agreements, scopes, and financial reporting in alignment with internal processes.Ensure strong operational management across accounts, including scope control, workflow efficiency and delivery standards.Act as the main escalation point internally and externally, resolving issues quickly and effectively.Drive collaboration across teams (creative, media, production, consumer insights) to deliver integrated, high-quality output.Proactively identify and drive business growth opportunities within existing business, including upselling, cross-selling, and new initiatives.Lead and contribute to new business opportunities, from opportunity identification and pitching processes to final delivery.Lead commercial discussions, including proposals, scope definition, pricing, contract renewals, and negotiations.Manage and develop client servicing teams, ensuring high performance, clear ownership, and continuous growth.Monitor resource allocation and utilization across accounts to ensure efficiency and sustainability.Ensure all work reflects Kijamii’s standards of effectiveness, innovation, and “Work That Works.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:EducationBachelor’s degree in a related fieldExperience8–10 years of experience in Account Management within advertising/marketing agencies with experience leading large-scale campaigns and senior client relationshipsSkills:Strategic Planning & Business DevelopmentTeam Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementClient Management & SatisfactionFinancial & Profitability ManagementAccount Management & Commercial AcumenAgency Operations & Team DevelopmentThis position is open until July 9 2026Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
