ABOUT Kijamii:Kijamii is an independent, award-winning advertising agency driven by innovation and culture, with a rich legacy of over 14 years, operating regionally with offices in Riyadh, Cairo and Dubai.JOB PURPOSE: We are looking for a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of all digital operations across client social media channels. This role exists to maintain flawless publishing, optimize and update all social media platforms, monitor channel health, track competitor activity, and deliver insightful performance reports. The Social Media Manager acts as the front line of daily digital activity, ensuring content goes live accurately, channels remain fully optimized, opportunities and risks are identified early, and clients receive consistent, data-driven updates that support strategic decision-making.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: 1. Content Publishing & ExecutionPublish all approved social media content across designated platforms (daily/weekly/monthly), ensuring accuracy and adherence to the content calendar and brand guidelines.Double-check formatting, captions, hashtags, links, and platform-specific optimizations prior to posting.Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and community managers to ensure all required assets are ready for deployment.2. Reporting OwnershipOwn and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports (including data gathering, analysis, insights, charts, and recommendations).Highlight key performance indicators, wins, challenges, competitor benchmarks, and opportunities for optimization.3. Channel Monitoring & Quality AssuranceMonitor all client social channels daily to ensure:No negative comments go unnoticed.Community management gaps are flagged immediately.Any potential crisis or negative spike is escalated in real time.Ensure the community management team responds to all comments, questions, and inquiries within the agreed SLAs.4. Competitor & Trend MonitoringTrack competitor brands daily for new campaigns, collaborations, influencers, or product launches.Flag new market moves promptly and include them in weekly and monthly reports.Identify relevant social media trends and recommend ideas that can be applied within the upcoming monthly content calendar.5. Social Media Channel Management & OptimizationOwn the setup, cleanliness, and optimization of all client social media channels across all platforms.Ensure the following are always updated and correct:Profile images, cover images, and banners (correct sizing + highest quality).Bios/about sections, links, contact information.Platform tags, handles, and naming formats.Highlight covers, pinned posts, playlists, sections, and featured content.Regularly audit all channels to ensure full optimization according to platform updates.Manage new platform features, ensuring early adoption (e.g., Instagram Notes, YouTube Shorts updates, TikTok tools, etc.).Ensure all pages abide by brand CI and regional guidelines.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldExperience Minimum of 1 year of experience within advertising ormarketing industrySkills Aware of all social media platforms' technicalities and publishing rulesThis position is open until July 14Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
