Planning Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to support the planning and scheduling of ACC’s high-profile construction projects across Egypt, KSA, Africa, and beyond. If you have a strong foundation in project planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring, and are passionate about delivering projects efficiently and on time, this opportunity is for you.What You'll Achieve:Project Planning and SchedulingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with project objectives and contractual requirements.Assist in preparing baseline schedules and update project progress regularly.Support the monitoring of project timelines and identify schedule deviations proactively.Coordinate with project teams to ensure activities are sequenced effectively and resources are utilized efficiently.Project Monitoring and ReportingTrack project progress against approved schedules and prepare periodic progress reports.Analyze schedule performance and highlight critical issues affecting project delivery.Support the preparation of recovery plans and corrective actions to maintain project milestones.Generate dashboards and planning reports for management and project stakeholders.Coordination and Performance AnalysisCollaborate with construction, procurement, engineering, and site teams to collect project updates and maintain schedule accuracy.Monitor productivity and support performance measurement initiatives.Assist in evaluating project risks and schedule impacts.Documentation and Process ComplianceMaintain planning records, reports, and project documentation in accordance with ACC standards.Ensure planning activities align with company procedures and project requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and project controls functions.What You’ll Bring to ACC:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred)Graduate of The American University in Cairo (AUC) preferred2+ years of experience in planning and scheduling within construction projectsKnowledge of project planning principles, scheduling techniques, and project controlsProficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectStrong analytical, reporting, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in EnglishAbility to manage priorities and work effectively in a dynamic project environmentWhy ACC?At ACC, we foster a culture where collaboration and innovation drive success, and professional growth is a key priority.
