This role is responsible for developing and maintaining short- and long-term business plans, including sales and operational forecasts that support MetLife Egypt’s strategic objectives. The Planning Specialist will analyze financial and operational data, prepare regular performance reports, and identify trends and variances to support informed decision-making. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and customer service, to align plans with business goals and to track progress against key targets. The role also involves preparing presentations, monitoring market developments, and recommending improvements to planning processes, tools, and reporting standards.Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven planning and forecasting.Proficiency in planning, budgeting, and performance tracking, with experience coordinating plans across different functions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and present findings clearly.Solid understanding of finance principles, financial metrics, and basic financial modeling to support business and sales planning.Customer service mindset, with the ability to consider customer impact when developing and adjusting plans.Proficiency in MS Excel and other planning/reporting tools; experience with dashboards or BI tools is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; relevant planning or insurance/financial services experience is preferred.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
