Principal Finishing Engineer - Architectural

As a Principal Finishing Engineer, you will oversee and manage all finishing-related activities at the project site, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, construction methods, and safety regulations. Your role will involve providing leadership, technical expertise, and support to site personnel to ensure the timely and quality completion of finishing works.Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:Finishing Works Implementation:Implement and monitor all finishing-related works at the site in accordance with approved drawings, methods, and safety regulations.Allocate necessary resources, including manpower, materials, and tools, for construction-related works prior to execution.Project Execution Planning:Lead site personnel to execute finishing works efficiently and ensure timely completion of tasks as per project schedule.Plan and coordinate the execution of all construction-related works, collaborating with electrical and mechanical groups as required.Technical Support and Compliance:Interpret construction drawings and study contract documents and applicable standards to ensure compliance during the execution of finishing works.Provide engineering and technical support to civil/architecture workgroups, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.Safety Management:Take responsibility for the safety of all civil and architectural personnel by enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards on the project site.Proactively address any safety concerns or technical difficulties that may arise during project execution.Stakeholder Communication:Attend regular meetings with clients and consultants to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.Maintain effective communication channels to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues promptly.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and submit daily site reports, inspection requests, estimates, and monitoring reports as required, ensuring accurate documentation of project activities.Provide support to the Site Manager in achieving project objectives and targets for civil and architectural groups.To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.7 - 10 years of experience in all finishing work for the construction of large-scale building projects (malls and hotels are preferable).Excellent knowledge of construction drawings, standards, and regulations.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet project deadlines.
