Process Engineering / Improvement Specialist

Working across the Information Technology and Services sector, the company helps clients modernize operations, improve performance, and build more effective technology-enabled experiences.In this role, you will help drive meaningful operational improvement across retail banking environments by shaping more efficient, compliant, and customer-focused processes. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to support transformation initiatives, improve service delivery, and turn process insights into measurable business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesOptimize core retail banking journeys by mapping, analyzing, and re-engineering workflows such as customer onboarding, KYC/AML processing, and consumer loan and credit card origination to reduce turnaround timePartner with digital product and IT teams to identify automation opportunities, streamline processes for RPA deployment, and support mobile-first banking initiativesRedesign workflows to embed compliance with Central Bank of Egypt mandates, data privacy laws, and internal risk and control self-assessmentsApply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes of operational defects, branch inefficiencies, and back-office backlogsEstablish baseline operational KPIs, build performance dashboards using Power BI and Excel, and present data-backed recommendations to senior stakeholdersRequirementsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline3-6 years of direct process improvement, industrial engineering, or business analysis experience within retail banking or financial services in EgyptLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, with familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery approachesProficiency with process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio, Bizagi, or ARISStrong analytical capability using SQL, advanced Microsoft Excel, and Power BIExperience presenting process improvement initiatives, performance metrics, and business cases to senior management and department heads within a banking or financial services environmentExperience working with Compliance, Risk, Internal Control, AML/KYC, and Operations teams to align process enhancements with regulatory and governance requirementsExperience partnering with Digital, IT, Product, and Automation teams to translate business requirements into workflow enhancements, BPM solutions, or RPA initiativesExperience facilitating workshops, process mapping sessions, and cross-functional discussions with business and technical stakeholdersExperience communicating data-driven recommendations through dashboards, presentations, and executive summariesEligibility to work in EgyptPreferred QualificationsMBA or master's degree in operations, Process Improvement, Business Analytics, or a related fieldExperience with process miningExperience participating in digital transformation programs, customer journey redesign projects, or process automation initiatives within retail banking
