Job Summary:As a Procurement & Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the logistics and procurement functions within the organization.Responsibilities:Logistics Responsibilities:Shipping Coordination: Negotiate with shipping lines to secure the best rates and services.Shipment Arrangement: Coordinate shipments with suppliers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipments with suppliers, shipping lines, finance and clearance until arrival to destination.Customs clarification: Follow up and communicate with Government parties to ensure a smooth customs clearance process. Handle and issue the ACID process in Nafezaa.Procurement Responsibilities:Order Placement: Place orders with suppliers, follow up on order processing and secure on-time delivery.Process Control: Manage procurement processes, costs, and lead times for both local and overseas orders, resolving any issues in the supply, shipping, and clearing processes.Data Management: Create and update basic data (info records, price lists, selling prices, etc. in the company’s operating system (SAP).Claims to suppliers: Issue & Manage claims of shipment discrepancies with vendorsSupplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).Sales Support: Assist the sales team in achieving organizational goals.Reporting Responsibilities:Record Keeping: Maintain records of all incoming consignments and create acknowledgments and invoices to be updated in the SAP system.Report Preparation: Prepare purchasing, costing, inventory, and sales reports for top management and other stakeholders inside and outside the organization.Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management is preferable2+ years of experience in procurement & logisticsSAP experience is preferableJob-Specific Skills:Excellent interpersonal communication skillsExcellent command of English LanguageProblem-solving skillsNegotiation skillsTime Management
