The Product Specialist will manage and develop travel products online and offline, including researching destinations, suppliers, and experiences to create competitive, attractive offerings. Daily tasks include maintaining product details and pricing, preparing proposals and presentations, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate, compelling product information. The role involves monitoring product performance, analyzing booking trends, and recommending improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue. The Product Specialist will also handle inquiries related to products, support internal stakeholders with product-related training, and contribute to continuous optimization of the travel portfolio.Qualificationsstrong background in SEO and digital marketing , including experience with viator and other booking platformsProduct expertise and management skills, including experience working as a Product Specialist or in product-related roles within travel, tourism, or hospitality.Strong analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate product performance, and develop actionable insights for improvement.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.Customer service and relationship-building skills to support travelers and partners, ensuring a positive experience and repeat business.Sales and negotiation skills to help position products competitively, support the sales team, and contribute to revenue growth.Proficiency with office productivity tools and reservation or travel management systems; familiarity with MICE operations is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred; relevant professional certifications are a plus.Fluency in English and Arabic preferred; additional languages are beneficial in dealing with international partners and clients.
