The role involves planning and overseeing sewing production for home textile products, ensuring that output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets. The Production Engineer will monitor daily line performance, balance workloads, set and track production targets, and coordinate with cutting, finishing, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, implementing process improvements, and standardizing sewing methods and work instructions. The role also covers supervising adherence to quality standards, troubleshooting sewing issues, training operators on best practices, and communicating production status, risks, and improvement plans to supervisors and cross-functional teams.Qualifications Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with experience in sewing operations and home textiles manufacturing.Proficiency in Production Planning, including line balancing, capacity calculations, and workflow optimization.Hands-on experience in Quality Control, with the ability to implement and maintain quality checkpoints and standards.Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify root causes, and drive process improvements.Clear, professional Communication skills for effective coordination with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).Experience with industrial sewing machines, work measurement, and lean manufacturing principles is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Ismailia, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a safe, organized production environment.
