The role involves supervising production staff, monitoring workflow, optimizing productivity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure production schedules and targets are met.Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.Ensure compliance with quality standards and production specifications.Manage and supervise production employees, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and coaching.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production area.Monitor machine utilization and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.Prepare and review daily production reports, including output, efficiency, and operational issues.Investigate production delays, quality issues, and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions.Coordinate with quality, warehouse, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.Monitor material consumption and minimize production waste.Participate in workforce planning and shift scheduling activities.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and productivity.Ensure proper training and development of production staff.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, or relevant8+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.Leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Organizational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems is preferred.Team LeadershipKnowledge of production processes and manufacturing operations.Understanding of quality management systems and production KPIs.Familiarity with health and safety regulations.Experience in production planning and process improvement methodologies.
