Job PurposeLeads and oversees the efforts of the production team and ensures that projects are carried out in adherence with the department’s key performance indicators as well as local and international (Heineken) standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures that the production activities are running smoothly by coordinating with the plant management team.Ensures that required safety standards are implemented.Reports any critical incidents to the management team and communicates them with production team members for future enhancements.Trains contractors on safety standards and runs audits for compliance.Manages quality deviations and meets Al Ahram Beverages Company’s targets and Heineken standards.Leads the Daily Control System (DCS) to review previous data on quality and resource consumption.Motivates the production staff to come up with new ideas.Evaluates targets and ensures that staff are aligned with the planned targets.Drives and ensures the right implementation of the Shop Floor Excellence standards and methods in the production department.Executes the production plan by ensuring the availability of the required products on-time with the right quality standards and the optimal costs.Performs risk assessments to reduce hazards.Coaches and trains the production staff based on identified skill gaps and areas of improvements.Disclaimer: Other duties assigned as needed.Education & ExperiencesEducational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Science or Chemical or Production EngineeringYears of Experience2 -4 years of experience in production process in FMCG companiesQualifications & Other RequirementsExcellent command of English LanguageSkills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint)TPM KnowledgeHACCP/ISO Principles and systemsFunctional CompetenciesSafetyAct in a way that contributes to maintaining a safe environment for employees, contractors and visitors in line with the applicable statutory, HEINEKEN, and local regulations and policies.Environment & SustainabilityOperate with good environmental conditions and improve environmental aspects of the operation.Quality management & ControlSustain and improve product quality and process conditions throughout the brewing and cider production process and to execute quality tasks autonomously, in compliance with global and local quality and food safety standards.Equipment operation & ControlSafely operate Brewing & Cider equipment, and make improvements and innovations, through the seamless integration of TPM methodology in autonomous operations.Equipment MaintenanceCarry out and optimize corrective and preventive maintenance tasksIn a safe and hygienic manner and safeguard equipment availability.Strategy Development & ImplementationTranslate the E2E opco/Brewery vision and strategy into department strategy, objectives, priorities and targets, and build ownership and commitment during implementation.Management of process, performance & excellence in executionManage the Brewing & Cider process and achieve execution of the plan by ensuring optimal engagement of people and overseeing the interfaces with other production processes.Data Management & DigitalizationImplement the organization’s digital roadmap, in compliance with the global requirements of building a digital capability.Financial Planningcontribute to financial performance and value creation for the business, through managing costs and the financial impact of decisions within their own area of responsibility.People & Organizational DevelopmentEngage and develop people, in line with the organization’s strategy, to achieve long-term business success.Personal SkillsTarget and Detail OrientedAnalytical SkillsInterpersonal & Communication SkillsCoaching & Delegation SkillsHigh learning agilityHigh problem-solving capabilitiesCritical and Challenging
