About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager / Head of PMO to establish, lead, and continuously improve project and program governance across our organization.The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and project execution, and driving delivery excellence across multiple workstreams within our digital banking transformation journey.This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in program management, PMO governance, stakeholder management, and large-scale technology transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPMO Leadership & GovernanceEstablish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO).Define and maintain project governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and reporting structures.Ensure consistent project delivery practices across all programs and initiatives.Drive PMO maturity and continuous improvement initiatives.Program & Portfolio ManagementManage a portfolio of strategic business and technology initiatives.Prioritize projects and programs based on organizational objectives.Monitor interdependencies, risks, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.Ensure alignment between business goals and program execution.Stakeholder ManagementPartner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define strategic priorities.Provide regular portfolio and program updates to senior management.Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution across cross-functional teams.Delivery OversightMonitor project health, milestones, budgets, and resource utilization.Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure successful execution of programs across product, engineering, operations, data, and infrastructure teams.Financial & Resource ManagementSupport budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning activities.Monitor project financials and resource allocation across programs.Ensure optimal utilization of project management resources.Change ManagementDrive organizational change management activities associated with major initiatives.Promote best practices in project management and delivery excellence.Required QualificationsExperience10+ years of experience in project and program management5+ years of experience leading PMO functions or enterprise programsProven experience managing large-scale technology transformation initiativesProject & Program ManagementPortfolio ManagementProgram ManagementPMO GovernanceStrategic PlanningBudget & Resource ManagementMethodologiesAgileScrumWaterfallHybrid Delivery ModelsLeadership SkillsStrong executive stakeholder managementTeam leadership and mentoringOrganizational change managementProfessional SkillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to influence stakeholders at all organizational levelsPreferred QualificationsExperience within:BankingFinancial ServicesFinTechDigital Banking TransformationExperience leading:Product Delivery ProgramsTechnology Transformation ProgramsCore Banking InitiativesDigital Banking PlatformsPMP CertificationPgMP CertificationPRINCE2 PractitionerPMI-ACP or Agile CertificationsMBA is a plus
