Whether you're building your dream home, launching a new office space, or upgrading an existing one, Orion is your one-stop partner for elegant, end-to-end project delivery.Role SummaryOrion is a fast-growing interior design, fit-out, and construction execution company managing multiple concurrent projects with significant cash movement at both head-office and site level. We are hiring a Project Finance & Treasury Accountant to own the day-to-day financial operations that keep our projects cash-healthy and our cost data accurate. This is a centralized, office-based control role, not a site-based position. You will be based at the head office and will remotely control, monitor, and consolidate treasury activity across all active project sites — coordinating directly with site engineers and project managers by phone, ERP, and reporting rather than being physically stationed on site. You will be the CFO's central point of control for cash movements, employee advances, and site account closing across every active project, translating site-submitted data into clean, reliable, consolidated numbers the CFO can act on. You will report directly to the CFO and will be a key contributor to Orion's Cash Flow, Procurement, and Project Profitability control systems as the company scales toward managing 100+ concurrent projects. Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 1–4 years of accounting experience (Junior: 1–2 yrs / Mid-Level: 2–4 yrs). • Experience in construction, contracting, fit-out, or other project-based companies is highly preferred. • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and reconciliations. • Comfortable controlling and coordinating multiple site teams remotely from a central office — not a field-based position. Required Technical Skills• Strong Microsoft Excel skills: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF/nested IF, basic data validation. • Power Query knowledge is a strong plus. • Working knowledge of an ERP or accounting system (e.g., Odoo, SAP B1, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar). • Understanding of petty cash management, treasury controls, and employee advance/clearing accounts. • Familiarity with project accounting concepts: cost codes, WBS-level cost tracking, budget vs. actual. • Accurate, fast data entry with strong attention to numerical detail. Soft Skills • Highly organized and detail-oriented — nothing slips through without supporting documentation. •Strong communicator, able to confidently follow up with site engineers and PMs (sometimes pushing back on overdue items). • Proactive — flags issues before they become CFO-level problems. • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously. • Trustworthy and discreet — this role handles cash and sensitive financial data daily. • Comfortable driving accountability remotely — following up by phone/ERP with site teams without needing to be physically present on site. Preferred Experience • Prior experience as a Site Accountant, Project Accountant, or Treasury Accountant in a contracting/fit-out/construction company. • Experience managing employee/engineer advance cycles end-to-end. • Experience preparing cash flow or cash need forecasts at the project level. • Exposure to month-end closing processes in a multi-project environment. • Experience using Power Query or building reconciliation templates in Excel.
