Job Title for the new hire: Project Planning Administrator Job Description: Amazon is seeking a Project Planning Administrator to support the continued expansion of our fulfillment network. This role provides administrative and operational planning support to Project Planners working on large-scale fulfillment center and sort centers programs. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling repetitive, structured, and data-driven tasks, maintaining project schedules, supporting KPI reporting, and ensuring planning data quality. This individual will work closely with Startup Project Planners, Startup Project Managers, Engineering, and Construction teams to support schedule maintenance, progress tracking and reporting activities. This role does not own planning decisions or critical path management but enables planners to focus on higher-value planning and risk mitigation activities. The role will be based in Egypt and will support projects across multiple countries. No travel is required. Technical Assessment needed: Yes Expected deliverables: Maintain and update existing templates based on inputs provided by Project Planners Maintain standardized WBS structures, activity codes, and templates Apply approved progress updates, date changes, and logic adjustments in scheduling tools Perform routine schedule health checks (missing logic, dates, calendars, activity codes) Extract schedule data to calculate/consolidate/support monthly KPI reporting across NA, EU, LATAM and AU (100+ projects) Prepare recurring laydowns plans using predefined formats Support planners with meeting preparation, action tracking, and follow-ups Ensure version control and proper filing of schedules and planning artifacts Support planning standardization and data consistency across the portfolios BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, planning administration, PMO, or reporting Basic proficiency with scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive and structured tasks accurately Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, structured data) Proficiency in English (written and verbal) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, or logistics projects Experience with KPI tracking or PMO-style reporting Familiarity with standard project planning terminology Experience working in a shared services or regional support role Experience with AutoCAD or similar software for layout planning Software / programs / tools: MS Office and AutoCAD Urgency to prioritize: High Required Years of Experience: 3 Start date: Mar 22, 2026
