This role is essential to ensuring the successful completion of onsite projects and strong coordination with all factory functions. Join us and be part of the team driving operational excellence on the ground.Position As a Projects Engineer, you willDetermine and define project scope of work and deliverables and align with all collaboratorsCoordinate, manage, and direct construction projects from start to finish and monitor progress in detailLead the implementation of multiple projects within time, budget, quality, and safety standardsManage project build, BOQ, tendering, contractor selection, contracting, and claimsNegotiate with external vendors to secure profitable and compliant agreementsDetermine required resources including labor, equipment, and materials while considering budget limitationsCoordinate site layouts and drawings across Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical fieldsReview and approve contractor technical submittals and workshop drawingsSecure necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory prerequisites before executionEnsure work is completed in line with construction and safety codes as well as JTI guidelinesIdentify and mitigate project risks through detailed method statements and risk assessmentsSupport factory benchmarks and contribute to continuous improvement of EHS, Energy and Quality systemsEnsure compliance with the JTI code of conduct, legal requirements, and all internal standardsRequirementsBSc in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering3+ years of experience in site project managementStrong project management knowledgePMP certification is a plusExcellent Arabic and English (spoken and written)Very good computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD or similar)Strong communication and influencing abilitiesStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsVery good planning, scheduling and inspection capabilitiesSolid data analysis and reporting skillsAbility to balance multiple priorities and commitmentsWhat To ExpectExpect wellbeing initiatives, flexible work arrangements, growth opportunities, and excellent benefits, including a unique family leave policy.
