QA / Test Engineer

We are looking a QA/Test Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. Main Responsibilities: Master functional verification technologies. Write, maintain, and execute product test and quality plans. Create, execute, and summarize test cases and their status. Participate in various product testing activities throughout the release life cycle. Build test automation frameworks to eliminate manual testing rework and reduce testing turnaround time. Understand customer use cases and support the integration of customer designs into our test environments. Perform product benchmarking and performance measurement iterations to capture tool performance data between releases. Report, validate, and triage defects to identify the root cause of issues and define their criticality for the R&D groups. Utilize code coverage techniques and tools to quantitatively evaluate product test coverage. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Very good knowledge of digital/RTL design fundamentals. Solid knowledge of hardware description languages such as Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog. Prior knowledge of Siemens tools, such as simulation tools and functional verification flows, is a strong plus. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl and Python. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively with others. We’re Siemens.
