The QC/QA Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s quality management system to ensure that all products meet defined quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role oversees both quality control (inspection & testing) and quality assurance (systems, processes, and continuous improvement), ensuring consistent product quality across all production stages.1. Quality Management System (QMS)Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in line with standards such as ISO 9001. Ensure full compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities. 2. Quality Control OperationsSupervise incoming, in-process, and final product inspections. Ensure proper testing procedures and adherence to quality standards on the production floor. Monitor production processes to identify deviations and implement corrective actions. Manage quality control laboratories, tools, and inspection equipment calibration. 3. Quality Assurance & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze quality data and KPIs (defect rates, rework, scrap, customer complaints). Lead root cause analysis using methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste. 4. Customer & Supplier QualityHandle customer complaints and ensure effective resolution. Conduct supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance. Work closely with procurement and production teams to ensure raw material quality. 5. Team LeadershipLead and develop QC/QA team members (inspectors, engineers, technicians). Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Ensure proper staffing and shift coverage for continuous operations. 6. Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and records. Prepare periodic reports for senior management on quality performance and improvement initiatives. Ensure traceability of products and materials. 7. Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure all quality activities comply with health and safety standards. Participate in risk assessments and ensure safe inspection/testing practices. EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Experience5–10 years of experience in quality roles within manufacturing. At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in continuous production environments and shift systems is highly preferred. Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of QMS and auditing standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Hands-on experience with quality tools: Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Statistical Process Control (SPC) Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Familiarity with ERP systems and quality reporting tools.
