Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Qesm El Maadi. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare, review, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior and IoT-integrated design projects, ensuring accuracy in quantities and descriptions. The role includes cost planning from concept to completion, developing preliminary cost estimates, and updating budgets as designs and scope evolve. The Quantity Surveyor will manage cost control activities, track project expenditures, and support value engineering to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality. Daily responsibilities also include preparing cost reports, forecasting financial outcomes, monitoring variations, and supporting contract administration and tender evaluation. The role involves close coordination with design, project management, procurement, and finance teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with PlanSee’s standards.QualificationsStrong cost planning and cost management skills, including the ability to develop, monitor, and update project budgets.Proficiency in preparing and reviewing BOQ and related quantity take-offs for interior and fit-out projects.Experience in cost control and cost reporting, including tracking expenditures, managing variations, and preparing financial forecasts.Familiarity with construction and interior design processes, materials, and methods; experience with smart or IoT-enabled projects is an advantage.Relevant academic background in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency with quantity surveying and cost management software, as well as standard office tools (e.g., Excel).Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in cross-functional project teams in Qesm El Maadi.Previous experience in interior, fit-out, or decoration projects is preferred; professional certifications in quantity surveying or cost management are a plus.
