We need to hire Research & Development (R&D) Specialist – Gas Cookers ManufacturingLocation: 6th of October City / Giza, EgyptKey ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & InnovationDevelop and improve gas cooker products and related components.Participate in designing new models and enhancing existing product lines.Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.Generate innovative ideas to improve product performance, safety, durability, and cost efficiency.Testing & ValidationPlan and conduct product testing, validation, and performance evaluations.Analyze test results and recommend design modifications when necessary.Ensure compliance with local and international safety and quality standards.Support certification and regulatory approval processes.Engineering & Technical SupportPrepare technical specifications, product documentation, and development reports.Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Maintenance teams during product development and implementation.Investigate technical issues related to products and recommend corrective actions.Support pilot production runs and new product launches.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and product optimization.Recommend material substitutions or design improvements without compromising quality.Participate in value engineering and process improvement initiatives.QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience3–5 years of experience in R&D within the gas cooker, home appliances, or cooking appliance manufacturing industry.Direct experience in gas cooker design, testing, or product development is highly preferred.Technical SkillsKnowledge of gas appliance components and manufacturing processes.Familiarity with product testing and quality standards.Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.Understanding of metal fabrication, assembly processes, and product lifecycle management.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred RequirementsExperience specifically in gas cooker manufacturing companies.Familiarity with international standards related to gas appliances and consumer safety.Residence in 6th of October City, Sheikh Zayed, Giza, or nearby areas.Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.Please send your CV to info@pinpoint-hr.com
