The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, developing projects from up to financial close, which includes developing robust financial models to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a combination of managerial and analytical acumen, project development expertise, and financial insight to enhance our competitive advantage and ensure sustainable growth.Role and responsibilities.Business and Project Development:Pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence and revenue streams.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive collaboration and partnerships.Manage projects from origination to financial close: coordinate all the project development steps and associated tasks needed from origination to financial close. It includes but is not limited: coordinate project team and advisors, negotiate project agreements with multiple stakeholders (industrial, commercial, financial and partners), build and manage budget and planning and obtain needed permits, licensing and any relevant approvalsManage bid submissionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies that enhance the company's overall growth trajectory and financial profitability.Corporate processes:For decision making and reporting purpose during the development process, prepare comprehensive presentations for senior management, summarizing project key information, associated risks and evaluation criteriaCommunicate financial insights and modelling results to management in a clear and concise manner.Participate in business reviews and strategy sessions to provide data-driven insights that shape company strategy.Financial Modelling:Create financial models to support business development, investment decision, pricing strategies, , and scenario analysis.Assess the financial implications of potential projects, investments, and partnerships, including risk assessments and return on investment (ROI) analyses.Compétences et qualités recherchéesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Proven experience in project development, with a track record of successfully reaching financial close for at least one project.Strong financial modelling skills with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools;.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to have a 360° view on a project.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of industry-specific trends and regulations.Previous experience in the energy sector, ideally in renewables.If you are a driven professional with a unique blend of business development and financial modelling skills, we encourage you to apply and join our team in shaping the future of our company!
