Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, for a Research and Development (R&D) Manager. The R&D Manager will lead the research and development in the industrial paints department, managing and overseeing innovative projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include leading R&D initiatives, conducting and supervising product research, overseeing team performance, managing project timelines, and providing strategic direction to meet organisational goals. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of cutting-edge products and solutions.QualificationsExpertise in Research and Development (R&D) processes, specifically in industrial paints products and conducting hands-on researchExperience in Team Management and Team LeadershipStrong Project Management skills and the ability to manage timelines effectivelyExcellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and lead the R&D departmentProficiency in using technological tools and software related to R&D and project managementBachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or ChemistryPrevious experience in the paints, coatings, or chemicals industry is a plus
