II’m continuing my partnership with a leading global food manufacturing business as they continue to invest heavily across the MENAI region.We are currently supporting the hire of an R&D Process Engineer, based in Egypt, joining a highly visible regional R&D team supporting innovation and manufacturing capability across biscuits and chocolate categories.This is a unique role sitting between R&D, Engineering and Supply Chain, focused on taking products from concept through to full factory commercialization.Key Responsibilities:• Lead process development, scale-up and factory trials for new products and innovation platforms• Support technology transfer activities across manufacturing sites within the MENAI region• Work closely with Engineering teams on new equipment, line upgrades and process capability• Support validation and onboarding of external manufacturing / co-manufacturing partners• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives• Partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams across the regionRequirements:• 7+ years experience within FMCG food manufacturing• Strong background within R&D Process Engineering, Scale-Up or Industrialization• Experience within biscuits, chocolate, bakery, confectionery or snacking preferred• Proven experience running factory trials and commercialization projects• Exposure to technology transfer, process validation or co-manufacturing activities• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• Curious, proactive and hands-on personalityLocation: EgyptTravel: Regional travel requiredThis is an excellent opportunity to join a business continuing to invest heavily in innovation, manufacturing capability and regional growth.Please apply directly with your most recent CV.Only suitable candidates will be contacted.
