The Retail Operations Manager will oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, merchandising, and adherence to company policies and standards. This role manages store staff scheduling, performance, and training to ensure a high level of product knowledge and service quality. The person in this position will monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and implement operational improvements to drive revenue and efficiency. The Retail Operations Manager will also handle escalated customer issues, coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners, and maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing showroom that reflects Roza Carpet’s brand.QualificationsStrong Retail Operations and Store Management skills to oversee daily activities, staffing, merchandising, and in-store processes.Proven Operations Management and Analytical Skills to monitor performance, interpret sales and inventory data, and optimize store efficiency.Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle complex inquiries, resolve complaints, and build long-term customer relationships.Experience in flooring, home décor, or related retail sectors is an advantage, with the ability to quickly develop in-depth product knowledge.Demonstrated leadership, team coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced retail environment.Comfort working with point-of-sale systems, inventory management tools, and basic office software.High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work on-site full time in Alexandria.
