About the RoleCity Floor Decoration is looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer – Architectural Specification to drive the specification of our premium flooring solutions with consultants, architects, interior designers, and project stakeholders.The primary objective of this role is to ensure our products are specified in project documents, vendor lists, and tender requirements, creating a strong pipeline of opportunities across healthcare, education, hospitality, commercial, and residential projects.This is a relationship-driven role that combines technical knowledge, business development, and project tracking.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular visits and presentations to architects, consultants, interior designers, and engineering firms.Promote and specify premium flooring solutions including LVT, vinyl flooring, carpet tiles, entrance flooring systems, and other finishing materials.Build and maintain strong relationships with specification offices and key decision-makers.Secure inclusion of company products in project specifications, tender documents, and approved vendor lists.Identify upcoming projects and engage stakeholders during the design stage.Provide technical support and product recommendations based on project requirements.Organize product presentations, technical seminars, and training sessions for consultants and architects.Follow projects from concept and design stages through tendering and execution.Coordinate with the sales team to convert specifications into awarded projects.Maintain a detailed database of consultants, architects, and active projects.Track market trends, competitor activities, and specification opportunities.Prepare weekly activity reports and monthly pipeline updates.RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience2–5 years of experience in specification sales, project sales, building materials, construction, interior finishing, or related industries.Existing relationships with consultants, architects, and design offices are highly preferred.SkillsStrong presentation and communication skills.Ability to understand technical specifications and construction drawings.Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Valid driving license is preferred.
