The Sales Engineer will develop and manage relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, promoting City Floor Decoration’s Forbo product portfolio and identifying opportunities in commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities include preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting site visits and measurements, and delivering product presentations and demonstrations. The role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, including advising on product selection, installation methods, and maintenance requirements. The Sales Engineer will also coordinate with internal teams on pricing, logistics, and project timelines, and maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and customer feedback to support sales planning and forecasting.QualificationsStrong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to explain flooring solutions, specifications, and installation requirements to clients and partners.Proven Sales and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage accounts, and ensure a positive end-to-end client experience.Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical field is preferred.Experience in building materials, flooring, construction, or interior finishes is an advantage.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple projects and site visits.Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD or project drawings is a plus.Ability to work on-site, travel to client locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
