Job Purpose:We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our ERP Applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Materials Management (MM) module, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes across the organization. The role requires deep functional expertise in MM, strong integration knowledge with related modules, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Purchasing (MM-PUR)Configure and maintain the complete Purchasing cycle: Purchase Requisition (PR), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Order (PO), Contracts, and Scheduling AgreementsSet up and manage Source Lists, Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and Quota ArrangementsConfigure automatic PO creation, release strategies, and tolerance limits for purchasing documentsSupport vendor evaluation processes and maintain vendor master data configurationsInventory Management (MM-IM)Configure and support all goods movement types: Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Transfer Posting, and Stock Transfer Orders (STO)Manage special stocks, including consignment, subcontracting, pipeline, and project stocksSet up physical inventory procedures: cycle counting, annual inventory, and inventory adjustmentsConfigure movement type settings, storage location assignments, and warehouse structureMaterial Master & ValuationDesign and maintain Material Master data, including views: Basic Data, Purchasing, MRP, Accounting, and StorageConfigure material types, number ranges, and field selection for the material masterSet up material valuation methods: Standard Price and Moving Average Price (MAP)Manage material ledger configuration and actual costing integration with FI/COInvoice Verification (MM-IV / LIV)Configure Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV), including 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way matchingSet up tolerance keys, price variance checks, and blocking reasons for invoice processingManage evaluated receipt settlement (ERS) and automatic settlement processesSupport integration with FI Accounts Payable for payment processing and reconciliationMRP & Supply Chain PlanningConfigure MRP procedures, planning parameters, lot sizing, and reorder point planningSet up MRP controllers, planning runs, and exception message handlingSupport integration with SAP PP (Production Planning) for demand-driven procurementMaintain plant parameters, MRP areas, and supply source determination configurationsImplementation & Project DeliveryParticipate in full-cycle SAP MM implementations: blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare supportPrepare functional specifications (FS) for custom developments, enhancements, and RICEF objectsExecute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)Develop end-user training materials and conduct hands-on training sessionsSupport & OperationsProvide support for SAP MM incidents, defects, and service requestsAnalyze root causes of production issues and implement permanent corrective actionsPerform period-end activities, including GR/IR clearing, invoice reconciliation, and stock revaluationsMaintain configuration documentation, functional specs, and change management recordsSecurity & Authorizations LeadServe as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP roles and authorizations. Must possess the expertise to design, audit, and architect complex authorization concepts, and actively guide the Basis team in implementing and maintaining the security matrix.Integration & Cross-Module CollaborationManage and support MM integration with FI (Automatic Account Determination), CO, SD, WM, PP, and QM modulesConfigure account determination for inventory postings, GR/IR accounts, and price difference accountsCoordinate with the BASIS team for transports, system upgrades, and patch managementLiaise with business teams, vendors, and auditors for procurement compliance reviewsQualifications & Requirements: EducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldSAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement is strongly preferredCIPS, APICS CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certification is a plusExperience3 to 5 years of hands-on SAP MM functional consulting experienceMinimum 2 full end-to-end SAP implementation project cycles in the MM moduleStrong experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or cloud)Exposure to SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) or WM is an advantageExperience in a manufacturing, contracting, construction, precast, retail, or financial services industry is preferredTechnical Skills:In-depth configuration expertise across: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Material Master, Valuation, and MRPStrong knowledge of Automatic Account Determination (OBYC) and MM-FI integrationExperience with SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms integrated with SAP is a plusAbility to read and debug ABAP code for troubleshooting and spec writing purposesExperience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) or equivalent for project documentation and ITSMWorking knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for procurement and inventory managementAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills for data migration, mass uploads, and LSMW/BAPI toolsIf you are interested, please send your CV to career@daamservice.com, mentioning the job title in the subject line.
