Role OverviewThe SAP Solution Architect is responsible for building a high-performing SAP consulting practice, driving SAP-led transformation programs, providing architectural leadership, and This role combines deep technical expertise, client advisory, and business leadership to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions and grow the consulting practice.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Solution Architecture & Delivery- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Cloud solutions).- Define architecture principles, integration strategies, and solution roadmaps aligned with client business goals.- Ensure scalable, secure, and efficient system design across functional and technical domains.- Provide governance and oversight across SAP programs to ensure delivery quality and best practices.Client Engagement & Advisory- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders on SAP transformation initiatives.- Lead client workshops to define business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.- Support proposal development, solution design, and client presentations during pre-sales.- Drive digital transformation agendas leveraging SAP technologies.Practice Development & Leadership- Build, lead, and scale the SAP consulting practice, including capability development and team expansion.- Define go-to-market strategies, service offerings, and industry-specific solutions.- Mentor and develop SAP consultants and architects to enhance capability and performance.- Establish delivery methodologies, frameworks, and reusable assets.Business Development & Pre-Sales- Support business development through RFPs, proposals, and solution positioning.- Identify new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts.- Collaborate with sales teams to expand SAP-related consulting services.Stakeholder & Project Management- Engage with client stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.- Manage offshore/onshore delivery models and cross-functional teams.- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.Key Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).- 10–15+ years of experience in SAP consulting, including architecture roles.- Broad and deep expertise across the SAP landscape, including S/4HANA and legacy environments, with strong command of multiple functional and technical modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, TM, SuccessFactors, Ariba, BW/4HANA, SAC), combined with advanced knowledge of SAP integration (BTP, CPI, APIs) and cloud transformation architectures.- Proven experience leading large-scale SAP transformation programs.- Experience in practice building or team leadership within consulting/professional services.- Strong understanding of integration and cloud environments.- Exceptional client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
