Job Purpose:Ensure the secure operation of the in-house computer systems, servers, and network connections by checking server and firewall logs, scrutinizing network traffic, establishing and updating virus scans and troubleshootingResponsibilities:Protecting 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks from signaling threatsMonitoring and investigating SS7, Diameter, and GTP security eventsAnalyzing MAP, CAP, Diameter, and GTP-C/U trafficTuning telecom signaling firewalls and improvig detection capabilitiesSupporting roaming and interconnect security operationsManaging security incidents, performing root cause analysis, and preparing operational reportsCollaborating with Core Network, Roaming, and Fraud teamsQualifications:Strong understanding of SS7 security, Diameter security , GTP security, LTE/EPC security , and roaming securityHands-on experience with telecom security platforms such as Mobileum, Cellusys, or EneaExperience administering Fortinet, F5, A10, and Juniper SRX firewallsGood knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VPN/IPSec, High Availability, and traffic inspectionFamiliarity with GSMA FS.07, FS.11, FS.19, and FS.20Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident response skillsExperience with Wireshark is a plus3+ years of experience in Telecom Security Operations or a related telecom security role
