Role OverviewThe Senior Accountant will oversee all financial operations related to exhibitions, booth stand production, and event management projects. This role requires expertise in project-based accounting, cost control, and compliance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements tailored to event and exhibition projects.Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets for booth construction, logistics, and event execution.Cost Control: Track material, labor, and subcontractor costs to ensure profitability of each exhibition project.Revenue Recognition: Apply appropriate accounting standards for project-based revenue streams.Vendor & Client Reconciliation: Manage accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, industry standards, and internal audit requirements.Cash Flow Management: Forecast and manage liquidity to support multiple concurrent projects.Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, procurement, and operations to align financial planning with event execution. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in exhibitions, booth stands, or event management.Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost allocation methods.Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
