Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesExpenses’ budgeting tracking on daily basis.Reviewing and reconciling expenses and accruals during month-end and year-end closingSupport in the preparation of detailed monthly expense reports, comparing actuals against budgets and highlighting variances.Assist in business plan & forecast preparation.Collaborate with budget coordinators to gather, validate, and challenge budget submissions within the business planning cycle.Help convert cash-based budgets into accrual-based budgets as part of the overall financial planning process.Contribute to the preparation of expense budget presentationsAssist in the creation and refinement of business cases for new projects, ensuring alignment with financial targets.Participate in the continuous improvement of budgeting processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy.Process documentation & updates.Job SpecificationsEducation / Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.Job Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards (IFRS)Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies:Excellent communication and teamworkExcellent negotiation & presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to build relationships with stakeholders at all levelsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines & manage multiple prioritiesResults-oriented and proactive approach
