We are seeking a Senior Construction Management Engineer (Mechanical) to join our HQ team in Cairo. The role involves overseeing mechanical construction aspects of projects from tender stage through execution and completion, while providing technical construction support to multiple departments and project sites.Job Responsibilities:Lead and review mechanical construction strategies from the tender and proposal stage through project execution and completion.Provide technical construction input to internal departments, including Planning, Proposals, PMO, Project Management, and Engineering, ensuring designs and schedules are practical and executable.Review and contribute to construction methodologies, execution plans, schedules, and risk assessments during pre-award and post-award phases.Participate in subcontractor sourcing, technical evaluation, negotiation, and selection, including preparation and review of RFQs and technical clarifications.Support mobilization and hiring of mechanical site supervision teams for project sites.Monitor and support site execution, addressing technical construction issues and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.Coordinate with project teams to ensure constructability, safety, cost control, and quality of mechanical works.Provide support for resource planning, variations, and change management related to mechanical construction activities.Capture and share lessons learned and best practices across projects.Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.5 to 8 years of experience in mechanical construction management.Power plant construction experience is a must.Experience in technical office roles and/or site supervision in mechanical construction.Previous experience in resource estimation and manpower planning.Good understanding of mechanical construction packages and execution workflows.Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.Ability to work across multiple departments and support several projects simultaneously.Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
